It's exhausting, because i'm deaf all the time." No matter how hard you work to listen, the reality is it's exhausting trying to listen all the time. Most of us take it for granted when someone asks "do you want a cup of tea?" from a different room. To be on high alert all the time is impossible to do. Knowing how to communicate with someone who is deaf or hard of hearing could really help. Being Deaf aware and using some communication tactics could help someone enormously, it doesn't take much effort. Something to think about.
